Place the USB Driver-001 in the computer disk drive. | |

If the disk does not come up right away (like it should) go to START at the lower left panel. From START click "My Computer." Then look at DEVICES withe REMOVABLE STORAGE. Look for the disk drive that says CD ROM. This will be the disk you have put into the computer. | |

After you click on the CD, 4 files will appear. You want to click on USB SERIAL ADAPTER file. | |

Next you will see 3 files, the file you want to click on is the file called WINDOWS DRIVER. | |

The next file should say PL-2303 Driver Installer.exe Prolific Technology, Inc. | |

Plug in the blue USB cable into the USB slot on the computer. | |

Then click on install; it may or may not restart the computer, depending on the computer. | |
Transfer Data TDS-40 Software-place it in the disk drive. |

The program should show up right away. It will say Install TDS-40 click on TDS-40. | |

Next type in the company name then the key code | |

The Key Code and company name is on the sheet of paper that has company name and key code on it. | |

After you enter in the code a welcome window shows up. Click NEXT to begin installation. | |

Choose destination location window come up hit NEXT. | |

Select program manager comes up hit NEXT. | |
7. |
Now press NEXT to begin. | |
8. |
After the installation is complete hit FINISH. |
